Still looking for an author/illustrator to Skype with? I'm happy to do a 10 minute free Skype visit with your class. No charge for the 10 minute visit, but I do charge $250 for my 45 minute skype visits.

I've been Skyping with many schools across the US this year. During my visits, I read from some of my books. I share some cool and creepy science facts, we do some wordplay (jokes, riddles, tongue twisters) from some of my humor books, I read my book PETITE ROUGE - A CAJUN RED RIDING HOOD with a Cajun accent and I answer questions from the kids. Then comes the most fun part of the presentation - I give everyone step by step instructions for creating their own original cartoons. The kids don't just WATCH me draw, they draw along with me. It's amazing!

The Notepad planning for what a great library should be is a great place to start. Honestly, I love the "where magic happens" statement - How can that not be the main goal?
