I recently read an article from Library Journal describing how public libraries are responding to this same phenomenon ("Tapping Into Media: Take your online presence to the next level with audio and video" by Michelle Jeske, 9/15/2008 at http://www.libraryjournal.com/article/CA6592649.html?q=tapping+into+media). Various libraries create videos of puppet shows, author visits, "I Love My Library" contest submissions, capturing temporary exhibits, and instructional/informational videos. There may be some interesting ideas in here for school libraries -- worth a look.
