Presentation to Wayne REMC Team
Last Thursday, I spent the morning with the Wayne County, Michigan, Regional Educational Media Center (REMC) group, talking about the national standards landscape and the AASL Standards in particular. It was so much fun to be with school librarian representatives from throughout Wayne County!

We talked a bit about how we help define/frame the “creativity and innovation” aspect of the NETS*S in our schools and to develop an operational understanding that creativity may involve trying again, multiple iterations, or realizing failure as a signal that what we envisioned needs retweaking.
