New Tool to Help You Make Book Lists at ALA

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

I don’t know about you out there, but I often unpack my suitcase and find lots of scrap paper with ISBN numbers scribbled on them.  It takes a while to sort through them.

But sitting next to Carl Harvey just now, I learned a great tip for all you iPhone users out there.  In the iPhone App Store, you can download SnapTell for free.  Take a photo of the books you see in the exhibits that you want to buy, and SnapTell will scan the covers and save your entries.  When you get home, get out your iPhone, flip through the covers, and place your order! No more scribbled scrap paper!
